Our History
1962
Early beginnings

1122 N Summit Street has been a historic part of crescent city  for many years. Once home to Tangerine Cove, a well loved motel which boasted an on-site restaurant named the Tangerine Terrace.

1963
Tangerine Terrace

Tangerine Terrace as shown in the postcard image above was a great family dining destination with spectacular views over crescent city. During our renovation efforts we discovered my old signs for restaurants and bars that once occupied the building. These have been saved with plans to repurpose them in the future.

1987
NEON CATFISH

The Neon catfish was another establishment that opened within the building in the 80's. Offering food, music and alcoholic beverages.

2002
Sicily's

Sicily's on the Lake was one of the longest and most recent establishments that occupied the building. Offering home cooked Italian food with locals boasting they served the best garlic knots in America!

2020
Purchased in 2020

The current owners purchased the property with the plans to develop the property into a family focused dining destination.

2025
Finished Product

After 5 years of planning and onsite development, The Lochside was born. Crescent City's newest dining destination with spectacular views over Crescent Lake.
